Principal's Message
Dear Students,
Welcome to our school! Regardless of your status as a new or returning student, it is our objective to make your time here at The Renaissance Center for Academic and Career Development a time of growth and progress for you. We understand that being here might not be what you had envisioned, but this is a place where you have the opportunity to grow, learn, and make positive changes. Our goal is to support you in becoming the best version of yourself you can be.
By working together, we can help you develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed when you return to your base school. Our aim is to provide you with the support and structure needed to turn this experience into an opportunity for great self-improvement. Focused on a common goal, we can work towards overcoming challenges and prepare you for everything you will face academically, socially, and emotionally going forward.
Our staff is ready to guide you along your academic journey towards an eventual high school diploma. Whether you are here for a semester or choose to graduate from The Renaissance Center, we're here to help you every step of the way! We will focus on attendance, behavior, academic improvement, and positive relationships. Ultimately, we want you to get back on track, meet your goals, and succeed.
You can never go wrong here if you follow the wisdom of our first administrator, Mr. Lamar Matthews, who stated the keys to success were, “Being in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right materials.”
Remember, every challenge is a chance to improve, and we're here to help you on that journey. Let's make the most of this time and create a brighter future together!
Dr. James Rehberg
